OVERVIEW
We have set a goal to reduce our carbon emissions by 44% by 2030 and achieve net zero by 2050. To achieve this goal, we are investing in a wide range of initiatives.
Use solar energy and biomass.
Use electric and biomass boilers.
Introduce high-efficiency equipment and energy efficiency programs.
Use eco-friendly refrigerants for air conditioners.
In 2019, TP joined the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) and the Science Based Target Initiative (SBTI).
The CDP is a non-profit organization that helps companies manage and disclose their carbon emissions and environmental impacts, with the goal of ensuring environmental transparency. The SBTi provides support to businesses in setting and managing science-driven carbon reduction targets and mitigating climate change.
Solar projects are TP's most important environmental initiative.
Our goal is to have solar panels installed in all of our facilities by 2030.
In 2022, all TP production sites ceased the use of coal and other fossil fuels. In 2023, we have replaced boilers in all production sites with electric and biomass boilers. We also plan to replace incineration boilers at all sites with electric counterparts by 2030.

TP has adopted the Higg Index to assess its compliance with local and international environmental regulations.
This program helps us better meet customer requirements and make progress toward green manufacturing, with the average score of all operations well above the industry benchmark.
We conduct annual verification assessments with the goal of achieving a corporate average of 90 points.
